UNCERTAIN GERMANIC TRIBES. Pseudo-Imperial coinage. Mid 1st-mid 3rd century AD. AR “Denarius” (3.57 g, 8h). Imitating a Lugdunum (Lyon) mint AR denarius of Augustus. Laureate head right / Caius and Lucius Caesars standing facing, holding shields and spears between them; no lituus and simpulum above. Cf. Göbl, Antike 2601-2; De Wit -. Good VF, toned. Rare.
