Struck 1544-1547. hЄnRIC' 8 D' G’ ΛGL' FRΛ' Z hIB’ RЄX, crowned bust facing slightly right (Laker bust A1 [bust 1]); single saltire stops, but double after D’ and hIB’ / POSVI DEV’ ΛDIVTORЄ’ mЄV’, royal shield over long cross fourchée; annulets in forks, double saltire stops. Whitton p. 309, A.2; North 1844; SCBC 2369. Good VF, toned, slight die shift, some die rust on obverse.
