Maximinus I. AD 235-238. Æ Sestertius (29mm, 17.23 g, 12h). Rome mint. Struck AD 238. Laureate draped and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / Emperor standing left, right hand raised, holding spear in left; two standards behind to the left, one to the right. RIC IV 40. Good VF, dark brown patina with some areas of red. Very pleasing portrait.
