MACEDON, Sermyle. Circa 525-500 BC. AR 1/8 Stater – Hemidrachm (1.69 g). Thraco-Macedonian standard. Forepart of horse left / Quadripartite incuse square, with unusual pattern in quarters. Psoma p. 35; AMNG III -; SNG ANS -; SNG Ashmolean 2400 var. (obv. type right). VF, lightly toned. Extremely rare.
