BAKTRIA, Indo-Greek Kingdom. Apollodotos II. Circa 85-65 BC. Æ Unit (3.79 g, 12h). Apollo standing right, holding bow, quiver(?) over shoulder; monogram to left; all within pelleted border / “Mahajarasa tratarasa Apaladatasa” in Kharosthi, diadem. Bopearachchi 10A; Bopearachchi & Rahman -; SNG ANS -. VF, dark green and brown patina with traces of earthen encrustation. Second and finest known, the other one in the British Museum.
