From the Leonard O. Greenfield Collection.

The successor and nephew of Kuno von Falkenstein, Friedrich II von Saarwerden was elected to the office in 1370 at the age of 22. He administered the coronation of Václav as King of the Romans at Aix-la-Chapelle in 1376, only to have that title revoked. In Václav’s place, Friedrich crowned Ruprecht III von der Pfalz as the new rex Romanorum in 1401 at Köln.
