AR Quarto (1.25 g, 9h). + AmЄDЄVS (star) DVX : SAB’ : (double annulet stops), "fert" between four parallel bars / + In ITALIA : mAR : PRn · (annulet and double annulet stops), cross within lozenge. Amadeo was elevated to duke in 1416 by Zsigmond, king of the Romans, and later became what was to be the final historical Antipope, Felix V. Elected in opposition to Pope Eugene IV, he later stepped down to become a cardinal.
