Valerian I. AD 253-260. AR Antoninianus (20mm, 3.16 g, 8h). Colonia Agrippinensis (Cologne) mint. 1st emission, AD 257-258. IMP VALERIANVS PIVS AVG, radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / GALLIENVS CVM EXER SVO, cippus inscribed IOVI/VIC/TORI in three lines, surmounted by Jupiter standing slightly left, holding crowning Victory and scepter. RIC V 7 var. (bust not cuirassed); MIR 36, 867a; cf. RSC 77. Near VF. Interesting and rare type.
