Wreathed, three-quarter facing head of Demeter, head turned slightly right, wearing necklace and earrings; A[G] in right field below earring / [META] upwards on left, seven-grained barley ear, leaf to right; bucranium above leaf, AQA below. Johnston Class C, 2.6 (same dies); SNG ANS 463-464; SNG Munich 992. Attractively toned, good VF, nice flan. ($1000)
