BRUTTIUM, Kroton. Circa 370 BC. AR Nomos (7.74 gm). Three-quarter facing head of Hera Lakinia, head turned slightly right, wearing stephane decorated with palmettes; large B in right field / KRO-TýNI-ATAS, Herakles seated left on rock covered with lion's skin, holding cup in right hand, bow and club under left arm. SNG ANS 375 (same dies); SNG Copenhagen 1802 (same dies). Lightly toned, good VF. ($2000)
