Manuel I Comnenus. 1143-1180. EL Aspron Trachy (31mm, 4.19 g, 6h). Constantinople mint. Struck circa 1160-1164(?). Christ Pantokrator standing facing on low daïs; stars flanking / Manuel and St. Theodore standing facing, both holding swords and supporting between them a patriarchal cross with one pellet on shaft set on globus.
