Helmeted head of Athena right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with three olive leaves over visor and a spiral palmette on the bowl / AQE, owl standing right, head facing; olive sprig behind; all in an incuse square. Starr Group IIc, 81ff; Svoronos pl. 8, 33ff. Toned, good VF. From the same issue as the famous Athenian dekadrachms. ($1500)
