The Artemision Find was a group of 93 electrum coins discovered on the site of the temple of Artemis at Ephesos. It contained 13 different types and nine coins without types, the obverse being blank or bearing only striations. Denominations from 1/96th stater to 1/2 stater were represented. This group has been of great importance in providing evidence for the dating and development of the earliest coinage in the western world.
