Laureate head of Apollo right; floral ornament behind / Kithara, retrograde EPΘ in tiny letters on base. Robinson & Clement Group I, 42 (A32/P38); SNG ANS -; Hirsch 967 (same dies). VF, granular surfaces, scuffs on reverse. Very rare.

Neither Robinson & Clement nor P. Naster (Hirsch) identified the small letters on the base of the kithara, which should be the beginning of a name, presumably the mint magistrate.
