This later series from Sardes is particularly notable for the exceptionally artistic rendering of Zeus in perspective. Attempts were made to depict Zeus in this manner on a couple issues at Abydos (Price 1498 and 1501) and Lampsakos (Price 1356), but these were unsuccessful, and resulted in Zeus having an awkward, unnatural pose.
