BOEOTIA, Thebes. Circa 395-338 BC. AR Stater (23mm, 12.06 g). (W)ast-, magistrate. Struck circa 390-382 BC. Boeotian shield / Amphora; ivy branch with three leaves and berries sprouting forth above; FA-ΣT across central field; all within concave circle. Hepworth 38 (same rev. die as illustration); BCD Boiotia 496 (same rev. die). VF, some light scratches on shield and field on obverse, traces of die rust, “X” graffito in upper left field on reverse.
