BOEOTIA, Thebes. Circa 395-338 BC. AR Stater (21mm, 12.20 g). Kal(l)i-, magistrate. Struck circa 363-338 BC. Boeotian shield / Amphora; KA-ΛI across field; all within concave circle. Hepworth 62 var. (non-fluted amphora); BCD Boiotia 554 var. (same). Near EF, bright surfaces, minor die rust, obverse struck slightly off center. Notice the fluting in the amphora design. This type unlisted in BCD.
