ATTICA, Athens. Circa 165-42 BC. AR Tetradrachm (31mm, 16.86 g, 12h). New Style coinage. Antiochos, Karaichos, and Skymnos, magistrates. Struck 131/0 BC. Helmeted head of Athena right / Owl standing right, head facing, on amphora; magistrates’ names in fields, elephant to left, E on amphora, ME below; all within wreath. Thompson 397k (same dies); SNG Copenhagen 212 (same dies). EF, lustrous. Well centered and struck.
