Diademed and veiled head of Arsinöe II right, lotus-tipped sceptre over shoulder / ARSINOHS FILADELFOU, double cornucopiae bound with fillet; C, monogram, Q below. Svoronos -; Troxell, ANSMN 28, pg. 53, 41; SNG Copenhagen -. Good VF, two scuffs on the reverse. Extremely rare issue from Joppa, only the second recorded specimen of this year (see Münzen und Medaillen Auktion 28, lot 539), only a few traceable specimens of other years. ($7000)
