GAUL, Nemausus. Augustus, with Agrippa. 27 BC-AD 14. Æ As (28mm, 12.38 g, 11h). Struck AD 10-14. Head of Agrippa left, wearing rostral crown, and head of Augustus right, wearing oak wreath, back to back; all within pelleted border / Chained crocodile standing right; palm and filleted wreath behind, palm fronds on either side of stem base. RPC I 525; RIC I 160. Good VF, exceptional hard black-green patina with gray-green and olive overtones, a few minor marks on obverse.
