CILICIA, Pompeiopolis. Pseudo-autonomous issue. Time of Pompey the Great, 66-48 BC. Æ (21mm, 7.33 g, 12h). Bare head of Pompey the Great right / Nike advancing right, holding [palm(?)] and wreath; monograms to right; [CY in legend]. Cf. SNG France 1215; cf. SNG Levante 881 (both refs. for type); Lanz 144, lot 275 var. (CY date above monogram). Good VF, attractive dark green patina with earthen overtones, minor smoothing on reverse.
