PARTHIA, Kings of. Arsakes I. 238-211 BC. AR Hemidrachm (1.98 gm). Beardless bust right wearing bashlik, earring visible / ARSAKOU right [A]UTO-KRATOROS left, archer seated left on throne, holding bow in right hand. Cf. Shore 1 (drachm); cf. Sellwood 1.1 (same). Lightly toned, good VF. Unpublished in the standard works and only the second recorded specimen, the first appearing in Busso Peus Auktion 323 (1-4 November 1988), lot 902, struck from the same obverse die. Extremely Rare.
