Gordian III. AD 238-244. Æ Sestertius (31mm, 16.61 g, 12h). Rome mint, 4th officina. 7th emission, AD 240. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Pax advancing left, holding olive branch and scepter. RIC IV 319a; Banti 56. Good VF, even dark gray-brown patina. Wonderful surfaces.
