Volusian. AD 251-253. Æ Sestertius (27mm, 17.75 g, 7h). Rome mint, 1st officina. 4th emission, AD 253. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Felicitas standing left, leaning on column, holding caduceus and scepter. RIC IV 251a; Banti 8. EF, attractive two-tone brown patina, reverse somewhat weakly struck. Exceptional portrait, displaying more hair and beard detail than usually seen. Wonderful surfaces.
