Probus. AD 276-282. Æ Medallic As (21mm, 5.00 g, 1h). Rome mint. Special Triumphal emission, AD 281-282. PROBV S P F AVG, laureate and cuirassed bust right / FIDES M ILITVM, Fides standing left, holding signum in each hand. RIC V 295; Gnecchi 69 and pl. 157, 8 (same dies); Pink VI/1 p. 59, 20. EF, attractive brown patina. Very rare, with only three examples cited in Gnecchi.
