Divus Galerius. Died AD 311. Æ Follis (25mm, 5.25 g, 12h). Thessalonica mint, 4th officina. Struck under Licinius, circa AD 311. DIOV (
sic) MAXIMIANO, veiled head right / MEM DIVI M AXIMIANI, domed shrine with closed door closed, surmounted by eagle standing left, head right, with wings spread; -/Δ//·SM·TS. RIC VI 48 var. (unrecorded officina). EF, virtually full silvering. Interesting misspelling of DIVO. Extremely rare, and apparently unpublished.
From the White Mountain Collection. Ex Gorny & Mosch 142 (10 October 2005), lot 2933.
Three things make this coin extremely rare: the misspelled obverse legend, the 4th officina, which is unrecorded for this mint, and the type from this mint is listed in RIC as R5.
