Ornate openwork band with globules at the center of interwoven spirals, the plain bezel set with an attractive nicolo agate intaglio depicting a youthful Cupid, holding a sail, standing atop a dolphin. Ring size: British R, US 8 3/4. Minor earthen deposits, otherwise a highly attractive piece with an unusual but charming seal design.
