OCTAVIAN. 30-29 BC. AR Denarius (3.56 gm). Uncertain Italian mint, possibly Rome. IMP, helmeted head of Mars right / Round shield with central star inscribed CAESAR. RIC I 274; Sear, CRI 428; BMCRE 644 and note *; BN 90 (same dies); RSC 44. Good VF, bright surfaces. ($500)
