Q. Pomponius Musa. 56 BC. AR Denarius (18mm, 3.43 g, 6h). Rome mint. Laureate head of Apollo right; star to left / Urania, the Muse of Astronomy, standing left, holding wand pointed toward armillary sphere set on base to left. Crawford 410/8; Sydenham 823; Pomponia 22. Good VF, attractively toned, a few areas of minor striking weakness.
