PHOENICIA, Aradus. Caracalla. AD 198-217. AR Tetradrachm (26mm, 12.01 g, 6h). Dated Cos. IV (AD 213-217), but probably struck circa AD 215-217. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / Eagle standing facing, wings displayed, head right, holding wreath in beak; below, crescent. Prieur 1269 (same obv. die as illus.). VF, rough surfaces. Very rare - only two specimens recorded by Prieur.
