Uncertain medalist, after Fioravanti and Andrea Guacialoti (Hill 738, 780). Bust left wearing stole / Palazzo di Venezia. Hill 783; Molinari Collection 20 (same dies). Probably a later cast // Leo X. 1513-1521. Æ 41mm Medal. Capped bust right, wearing stole / Medici arms with mitre and keys. Cf. Molinari Collection 37 (reverse only). Later "restrike" from new dies // Gregory XIII. 1572-1585. White Metal 35mm Medal. Year 1 (1572) Bust left wearing stole / Massacre of St. Bartholomew: angel walking right with sword and cross, through battle scene. Cf. Pollard & Hill 616. 18th-19th Century strike // As last.
