Octavian. Autumn 32-summer 31 BC. AR Denarius (19mm, 3.57 g, 5h). Italian (Rome?) mint. Head of Venus right, wearing stephane / Octavian advancing left, extending arm and holding spear. RIC I 251; CRI 397; RSC 70. Near EF, toned, slight weakness of strike on obverse on highest relief and corresponding reverse. Excellent silver quality.
