ITALY, Regno Lombardo Veneto. Francesco Giuseppe I. 1848-1859. AV Sovrano (26mm, 11.32 g, 12h). Venezia mint. Dated 1855. Laureate head right; mintmark below head / Crowned double-headed imperial eagle, facing, with wings displayed, holding sword and scepter; crowned imperial coat-of-arms on breast; imperial crown above; date in legend. Pagani 215; Friedberg 1512. Good VF, scratches on obverse, traces of underlying luster.
