VRBANVS • VIII • PONT • MAX • A • XX •, Bareheaded bust right, wearing ornate mantum joined by morse; engraver’s initials below; RY date in legend; all within wreathed border / PROPVGNACVLIS ADDITIS VRBI (With bastions added to the city), panoramic view of the Vatican fortifications incorporated into the Aurelian Wall, seen from the Villa Doria Pamphili grounds; all within wreathed border.
