ANGLO-SAXON, Crondall Period. Circa 620-645. AV Thrymsa (11mm, 1.26 g). Witmen type. Diademed bust right; trident cross before / Cross fourchée; blundered legend around. Sutherland 60-1 var. (rev. legend, unlisted dies); Metcalf 4-10 var. (same); North 25; SCBC 753. VF, lightly toned, short flan crack at 12 o’clock on obverse. Rare.
