KINGS of MACEDON. Philip II. 359-336 BC. AR Tetradrachm (25mm, 14.34 g, 1h). Pella mint. Struck under Antipater, Polyperchon, or Kassander (for Philip III and Alexander IV), circa 323-315 BC. Laureate head of Zeus right / Youth on horseback right, holding palm branch; below, coiled serpent right; Boeotian shield below horse’s foreleg. Le Rider 524 (S279/R432); SNG ANS 449. Good VF, light toning around devices, test cut on reverse. Nice metal.
