THRACE, Ainos. Circa 382/1-380/79 BC. AR Tetradrachm (22mm, 15.42 g, 12h). Head of Hermes facing slightly left, wearing petasos / Goat standing right; AINION above; trophy to right; all within incuse square. Cf. May, Ainos 381-3 (unlisted dies); AMNG II 342; SNG Copenhagen -; BMC 17; Traité IV 1509, pl. CCCXLVI, 1. Near EF, lightly toned. Well centered strike from dies of fine style.
