BAKTRIA, Greco-Baktrian Kingdom. Agathokles. Circa 185-180 BC. AR Tetradrachm (30mm, 16.75 g, 12h). Diademed and draped bust right / [B]AΣIΛEΩΣ down right field, AΓAΘOKΛEOYΣ down left, Zeus standing facing, holding scepter in left hand and Hekate, who holds a lighted torch in each hand, in right hand; monogram to inner left. Bopearachchi 1F; cf. Bopearachchi & Rahman 124 (illustrated example is fourrée); SNG ANS 190; MIG Type 137a. Good VF, some surface porosity, reverse struck with a slightly rusty die.
