HUNNIC TRIBES, Kidarites. Kidara. Circa AD 350-385. (26mm, 3.85 g, 3h). [“KIDA” in Brahmi to left, “BHASA” or “RAVO SA” to right], young beardless bust facing slightly right, wearing Sasanian-style crown of Šābuhr (Shahpur) III type with flat-topped crown decorated with palmettes in arches and surmounted with korymbos, ribbon over each shoulder / Fire altar with ribbons and bust wearing flat-topped crown right in flames; flanked by two attendants; traces of l’st on altar shaft. Cf. Göbl, Dokumente Em. 21; Donum Burns 1559; CNG 69, 894. Good VF, double struck on reverse, small areas of deposits, minor porosity. Extremely rare.
