Celebrating victories in Britain, this coin depicts Fortuna Redux, holding the rudder, which she uses to guide the world, and cornucopia, symbol of plenty. Goddess of fortune, Fortuna Redux is also the ‘Bringer-back,’ who brings Commodus back safely from his journeys.
