IMP CAES M ANT GORDIANVS AFR AVG, laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / ROMAE AETERNAE, S C in exergue, Roma, helmeted and draped, seated left on throne, holding Victory in outstretched right hand and scepter in left; oval shield at side of throne. RIC IV 5; BMCRE 23-6; Banti 4. Good VF, dark gray-brown patina. Rare.
