D N I VSTI NVS PP AVG, helmeted and cuirrassed bust facing, wearing short beard and holding globus surmounted by crowning Victory in right hand and shield decorated with soldier on horseback motif in left / VICTORI A AVGGG, Constantinopolis seated facing on throne, head right, holding spear in right hand and globus cruciger in left; B//CONOB. DOC 1-3 var. (unlisted officina); MIBE 5; SB 344 (unlisted officina). EF, lustrous, very shallow scratch on obverse from neck to edge.
MIBE does not distinguish between the bearded and beardless bust type for these solidi, and places them all within the issues of 567-578.
