Dated RY 25 of the Guāngxù Emperor (1899). “Made at the Fèngtiān machinery mint in year 5 and 20 of Guāngxù of the great Qīng dynasty,” in Manchu script around FUNG – TIEN (rosette) PROV INCE (rosette), “yì yuán,” in Hànzì / “zào jú qì jī tiān fèng nián wǔ shí èr xù guāng qīng dà,” (Made at the Fèngtiān machinery mint in year 5 and 20 of Guāngxù of the great Qīng dynasty), flying imperial dragon facing, coiled around fireball and surrounded by stylized clouds.
