Dated 1659. • IIII • MARCK • DANSK E • 1659, crowned monogram, EBEN EZER around, rock below / • SOLI • DEO • GLORIA, hand holding sword reaching from the clouds, cutting off outstreched hand to right reaching for Danish crown above; inscription ii Feb. in center. Hede 100B; Davenport 3576. VF, toned, tiny edge crack.

On 11 February 1659, the Danish repelled an attack on Copenhagen by the Swedes. The reverse imagery on this coin colorfully illustrates the result of the battle, in which the Danish successfully held off the Swedish attempt to take the Danish crown.
