1927-D Dime. MS 66 Full Bands (NGC). An absolutely stunning piece from a notoriously weakly-struck branch mint series. The bands of the fasces are crisply split, and the surfaces are as attractive as can be found. This Dime is a must for the serious collector of the Mercury Dime series, as it would be seemingly impossible to locate a better piece. NGC Population: 4, with none finer (as of 12/10).
