1878 Trade Dollar. Proof 66 (NGC). A rich, smokey tone envelops the mirrored fields of this stunning piece, highlighted by a gradual violet and indigo coloring around the periphery. The reverse is emblazoned in an exotic champagne hue, again encompassed by the rainbow highlights as on the obverse. A definite gem for the collector of choicely-toned coinage.
