Struck circa 1017-1023. + [CN]VT REX ΛNGLO:, crowned bust left within quatrefoil / +SP[ET]IN [LV](ND), voided long cross with triple-crescent ends and pellet at center, over quatrefoil. Blackburn & Lyon Lon. Ae style; SCBI 14 (Copenhagen), 2934 (same dies); BMC -; North 781; SCBC 1157. VF, toned, flan a little wavy.


From the illustration of the Copenhagen piece, it is clear that the obscured areas of the legends seen here are actually from faults in the dies, rather than a consequence of wear.
