THESSALY, Uncertain (Methylion?). Early 4th century BC. Æ (12mm, 1.50 g, 6h). Youth restraining bull / Bow over club within incuse square. Rogers -; SNG Copenhagen -. VF. Extremely rare.
Definitely Thessalian, this piece can only belong to one of a few cities whose ethnic begins with “ME-”. Methylion is the most likely candidate, as its coinage regularly employed archaizing types.
