BOEOTIA, Thebes. Circa 425-395 BC. Stater (Silver, 12.15 g). Boeotian shield. Rev. Θ-Ε Head of Dionysos to right, bearded and wearing an ivy wreath. BCD Boiotia 441/2 var. (differing head of Dionysos). A lustrous, sharp and attractive piece, remarkably fine. Extremely fine.
