IONIA, Phokaia. Circa 387-326 BC. Hekte (Electrum, 2.53 g). Female head to left, wearing a laurel wreath and with her hair in a sakkos; below neck, here off the flan, seal. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. BMC 65. Bodenstedt 102. Very attractive, lightly toned and of fine style.. Tip of the goddess’s chin off the flan, otherwise, extremely fine.
